Term 1, Lesson 8: Finding Out About Common Jobs
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. Recognize and read the names of common jobs and professions (e.g., teacher, doctor, farmer, driver).
2. Identify tools and workplaces associated with different jobs (e.g., A doctor works in a hospital. A farmer uses a hoe).
3. Form and answer questions using interrogatives (What does he do? Where does she work? Who teaches English?).
4. Write or complete simple sentences to describe jobs and their functions.
5. Use job-related vocabulary to talk about people’s professions in everyday contexts.
