Term 1, Lesson 6: Buying and Selling Items By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Recognize and use vocabulary related to shopping, weights, shapes, and units of measurement in context. 2. Use partitives correctly to describe quantities of goods (e.g., a bottle of oil, a dozen eggs). 3. Form and use questions with modals (can / may) to ask politely for prices and quantities (e.g., Can I have a kilo of rice? / May I buy this book?). 4. Respond appropriately to questions about the cost and availability of goods in a shopping situation. 5. Write simple sentences and short dialogues to simulate buying and selling transactions.
